This place is easy to miss, tucked away at the back of a little mall. It's a small bistro type restaurant with fresh food and a good menu. Great value, lots of food.... 2 entree's and 2 beers...$44!!!

Probably the best restaurant in Kailua - we love the range of options and the freshness - staff was pleasant. We had Gado Gado (vegetarian) and fish of the day Ono with stirfried veg and coconut rice. Amazingly good!
The chicken curry dish was pretty good, but I had a little food envy over the steak special and the paw paw chicken my friends got. Service was great, nice quiet atmosphere. very small and cute. Though they sound totally weird, the peanut butter/white chocolate/wasabi/coconut balls were ridiculously good - a refreshing little dessert to top off a great meal.
Though tucked away in a cheesey little strip mall type thing this place was awesome. I had a combo with the chicken satay and shrimp stir fry and my girlfriend had a beef stir fry thing and both were great, full of fresh veggies and lots of flavor. You shouldn't miss this place.
We discovered this restaurant, tucked away at the back of a souvenir mall last year. We only had a week left on our holiday, and we went twice. We were in Kona for a day this year, and the only place we would consider for lunch was Rapanui. Incredible food, service, portions and value. Everything was hot, fresh, and very...

I love the fact that it's a small family-owned restaurant that take advantage of the fresh produce from the big island with reasonable price!! Very glad that we found this place!!
I joined two friends for lunch, expecting great food (from TA reviewers), but I thought the price would be much higher. There is a lunch menu with very good prices for Kona. One friend & I each ordered the lunch special with chicken done two ways, house rice, and spring rolls. $6.99. I had a hard time choosing which chicken...

If you liked Sibu (which used to be at this same location) then you will like Rapanui ~ reportedly now owned by the former cook at Sibu, the menu is quite similar ~ Asian/Indonesian influenced ingredients and preparation and all very tasty ~ friendly service ~ perhaps a little on the pricey side for the atmosphere ~ but, I keep...

We stopped by here for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered a lunch special (with chicken) and it came out fresh and tasty. The location is great as it s tucked just inside the Banyon Court Mall, but we still had a nice view of the water. Prices were quite reasonable as well. I'd go back.
This was our first meal in Kona. It was just a short walk from Courtyard KingKam. It's tucked in a small shopping plaza, easy to miss. There were a lot of empty tables when we arrived. We seated ourselves on one of the outdoor tables and we were told (not asked!) to move to a smaller table. Not a good...
