This is a very nice hotel bar with large windows looking out on the street. They have a happy hour 4-6 every day which was a nice touch.
We stayed at the Mayflower and Oliver's was a pleasant surprise. The drinks are picture perfect and very tasty too. We did not eat there but it was a good place to relax and enjoy libations. Happy hour was accompanied by free tapas which was a treat.

As a guest at the hotel ,a relaxing drink at the bar was a great way to end a busy day. It was a pleasure to watch a master at his trade.Friendly atmosphere and good repartee amongst eh locals... More
I had a great drink with friends here, but the service was lacking. After we sat down it took 10 minutes before getting greeted and receiving menus. Then the bartender was a bit slow making drinks. It is very convenient, but I would think twice about taking a client here.
As a hotel guest, it was so nice to stop in at Oliver's and enjoy an end of day martini and snacks. As noted, the people watching is terrific and guests as well as locals enjoy this warm and welcoming venue.
Never a disappointment; Oliver's remains one of my most favorite "hang-out" lounges. Great people watching from the bar to the street, excellent service, good value and exceptionally classy pub-grub. A must stop. (Popular among the locals, too!)
