Defiently the best chowder. The bread bowl is worth the extra money and calories! The service is very quick and the staff are wonderful.

Seating: We sat at the counter; worked out great. Ambience: Open air, very, very casual, middle of Pike Market Service: order and served at counter Food: We have vacationed at Cape Cod for years, so are very fussy about chowder. This was just delicious!!!! Value: Good Highly recommend for lunch.

for the best chowder we've had for a long time. We tried the Salmon chowder and Market (Halibut today) chowder along with a slice of fresh sourdough bread. Nothing fancy but so delicious. The counter service was friendly and very efficient.

My husband loves to find these little dive type places that serve great food. Unfortunately I couldn't try any of the fish/shellfish chowders because I'm allergic to scallops and they couldn't say for sure that there wasn't any in the broth. The southeastern chicken and corn chowder was very good though. Husband declared both the halibut and salmon chowders amazing.... More

Fun place to stop in for lunch - the Clam Chowder was delicious! Also sampled the Spicy Corn Chowder and it was so yummy too. Follow the crowd, hop in line and get ready to be happy with each bite!

We went here for lunch on the basis of the TripAdvisor reviews. There are wide selection of chowders, which you can either have in a bread bowl or a cup. There are also some daily specials. It has a bit of fast-food restaurant feel but we enjoyed it and the food.

I tried sampler portions of 4 chowders. All were great ad was sour dough bread and crackers. Nice atmosphere also which is always positive when travelling solo. I'd go back for sure!

This is halibut season so about 2 weeks ago now Pike Place added a new chowder to their excellent options. I was offered a taste and that made up my mind. It was just soooo tasty! I had it with their crab roll - also excellent. If you like their other (famous) soups you'll like this one too! I wish... More

The best clam chowder in the US! And they have the awards to prove it. The seafood bisque is also delicious. I'd definitely recommend trying a small bowl of each.

We shared one small bowl of clam chowder our first day in Seattle and really wanted to get in another visit before our trip was over, but we couldn't. Very sad, because it was so so good!!
