neat place-ice cream is made in old wooden ice cream freezers unique flavors-wife had black licorice and really liked it I had Dutch Chocolate and it was also good
We had a short vacation in Omaha and went to Ted & Wally's each day. (Long lines twice, short line once and no line once). I became obsessed with trying the unusual flavors and then became addicted to the Guinness after trying it. I also liked the Triple Berry Pie and Raspberry. My wife really liked the Green Tea Pomegranate,... More
I like the "old school" ice cream parlor atmosphere, it was nice and quaint. The Guiness flavored ice cream won me over because of its uniqueness. Combined with the coffee crunch and I had a for sure winner. Try it, just cuz. You'll be happy you did.
Ice cream was very good, but got such a small serving for $6.00+. Seriously? People were standing in long line for the rude service and small portions. I thought it must be worth it, but I can find better things somewhere else.
After reading the reviews here we thought we would visit Ted and Wally's after being unimpressed by this place in their former Old Market location. I am still not sure what the big deal is. They have limited flavors of ice cream available - maybe 7 flavors - 3 of which are bizzare like Chai ( really , chai ice... More
Great treasure in downtown Omaha! Parking is tricky at times but the ice cream is delicious! They are constantly having new flavors and it is walking distance from anywhere in the Old Market.
Very good ice cream! Tasted buttered corn, we didn't like it - too chunky. We had Banana cream pie and a hot fudge brownie sundae for three of us to share. Portions are large so I recommend sharing. Line was long, but worth the wait. Fun ending to an evening. We did ask for Dutch Chocolate on the sundae and... More
We went to see what all the rave reviews were all about.....they were about the best homemade ice cream we have ever had and a traditional green river to drink. No wonder you see so many people walking around the Old Market area eating ice cream cones.
We made a point of coming here for ice cream based on the reviews and were not disappointed. It was a Sunday afternoon, and we didn't have to wait at all. Very good ice cream, and the kids loved seeing them making the ice cream right in front of them.
One of their special flavors the night we visited was coffee and baklava. YUM. It's located in Old Market, and perfect for a late night ice cream cone after dinner or bar hopping or both.
