Kuba kuba has great authentic Cuban food. The mussels and Cuban sandwich are to die for and don't forget the treleche cake
My Richmond friends have been raving about this restaurant forever but the wait has always been too long for my hunger pains. During out last trip, we finally made it to Brunch before the church rush and I'm glad we did. The food was delicious and the serving sizes were HUGE! Plan to go back again and again and again!... The place is small but packed with a lot of energy.. Service is attentive and food comes out pretty quickly. We had the moros and christianos which was an excellent appetizer. Kuban roast pork was plentiful and delicious. The codfish cake sandwich was also delicious. A place to stop by and relax.
I LOVE this place for breakfast - try to make it here every time I'm in town! The Kuba Kuba coffee is liquid heaven. It's a latte with a little bit of condensed milk added, and it is DIVINE. The place is cool, not fancy at all. Most of the menu items have a little cuban flair.

Still hanging from the night before, Kuba-Kuba was a great recommendation I was given by a friend. Service and food were great. I was disappointed that a bottle of water I brought before entering the restaurant I was asked to place in a bag or a cup on the table.
Recommended by our B&B. Don't be too put off by the industrial appearance of the interior - it's a real restaurant run by real people. However the decor is basic so won't suit some tastes. The menu is a sort of cuban and mexican fusion - clearly very popular with locals as there was a large take away trade. The... More
Get here early because the place can go from having 5 open tables to a line that goes out the door and around corner. The Kubanaso is delicious and is huge for only being under $8. No matter how full you are, though, do not leave Kuba-Kuba without getting a piece of their vanilla tres leche cake. If you go... More
We go to Kuba Kuba an average of twice a month. Not sure if today was an off day or what, but all around it was a disappointment. First the service is usually good, never overly friendly, but today there was a slight tension in the air and bordered on terse. We sat at the bar since we couldn't wait... More
