You would never know it's there if someone didn't tell you. Good southwest type food - cute little bar and pretty tasty margaritas!
My husband and I come to Georgia Grille once a week and that has been for 15+ years! We never tire of the fresh, quality ingredients in all of their dishes. The wait staff have long tenures, some from the opening of the restaurant 20+ years ago. The marguiritas are the best ever and made fresh daily. Everything has the... More
I don't rave about restaurants often, but this one deserves it. First of all, the eponymous "Georgia" is the New Mexico artist Georgia O'Keefe, and the food is probably best classified as "nouveau New Mexican" (which is not to be confused with Mexican food). The daily appetizer was a dressed up version of the Navajo Taco, not altogether successful because... More
Love this place for the food and margaritas. Daily specials make it always interesting. We ate early so the not having a reservation thing didn't bother us. The photo displayed above is not Georgia Grille! It is in a strip shopping center, but that doesn't detract. The shrimp and grits always delight. Service was okay, but again it was early... More
Find this place if you're in Atlanta! Food is phenominal. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is warm and cozy; sort of lodge-like, but yet very sophisticated. Absolutely worth the wait! Georgia Grille has survived the Atl restaurant industry for 23 years for good reason!
The last time we headed to The Georgia Grill I was ready to sit down to a delectable evening. Alas no reservations. So I advise you to make reservations and stay and enjoy a wonderful evening. we will make reservations next time. My previous visit was a family dinner and everything was delicious.
We eat here at least once a month and it is consistently delicious. The margaritas are great, but they also have a pretty good wine selection. Guacamole is fresh and has a great flavor, but all of the appetizers are good. We really like their enchiladas - lobster, shrimp and chicken are phenomenal .. mmm, that red pepper cream sauce... More
Split a nacho platter with a friend, or order the lobster enchilada or daily special. You won't be disappointed at the upscale, but down-home southwestern-themed Georgia Grille. The food and margaritas and truly good, the atmosphere friendly, and the art a tribute to Georgia O'Keefe and her New Mexico life. Hidden in a strip mall on Peachtree Street at the... More
We were interested in this restaurant in the Buckhead/Peachtree Battle area of Atlanta from the AAA Tour Book description. We were greeted at the door by the host. I think his name was Brandon and he was dressed the part of a 1950s "Fronz", from Happy Days. Only problem was for being the host of the restaurant he acted like... More
If this place wasn't so expensive I would eat there all the time. Terrific texmex menu with three highlights; margaritas, nachos and pork fajitas...
