Traveling with Skippy our dog, we wanted carry out. They are terrible at offering his service. No to-go containers are provided, they just wrap up your meat choice in white paper and drop it in a paper bag. No plates or other amenities are provided.

We are visiting for a high school baseball tournament. I used to visit Rudy's often when I lived in San Antonio. This Rudy's once again confirmed that they are the king of brisket. Cream corn to die for! A cold beer yes, kid friendly. The best for $$$
Process is to wait in line, ask for how much and what kind of "meat" you want. They provide bread and you make your own sandwich...... Best part is prices. Food is OK.
you get your money worth of bbq, we liked the turkey, and sausage, the beer was cold and so was the root beer for the kids

When I was standing outside, someone opened the door and that aroma of smoking meat beckoned me and my family. Staff was polite and...

THIS IS TEXAS BBQ AT ITS BEST, good fast service, the baked patato was big had to take it back to the hotel to finish
We ate here Memorial Day 2013 and came to it from reading Trip Advisor. The prior reviews were spot on!

My second visit passing thru. The meat takes center stage here and it is top notch . Lots of locals do take-out. Ultra ultra casual, noisy, picnic tables, self serve, cafeteria style. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend the green chili stew as a side dish. Potato salad is so-so. Lather on the great sauce. Lean brisket is equal or better...
