We came on a group on but will add this to our circle of restaurants. Great menu and good value.I will come for the lunch buffet. Sushi was great andwife's curry tasty.
OM has been consistently a great place to eat. We have been eating there ever since it changed its name. The present menu is interesting and has wonderful dishes. The management is friendly and always recognizes us when we come in. The staff even remembers for instance how my husband likes his martini or what is my favorite wine. The... More
When you first walk into Om, you might think you're in the latest hipster joint with its lighting and Zen decor. But take a closer look, and you'll find that this isn't a hipster joint, but rather a neighborhood place that has a really relaxed atmosphere with delicious Asian food. And we're not talking fusion here; it's a menu of... More
I work very nearby and a terrific sushi place would be ideal. But this place has average food and worse than average service. I'd rather drive to AJ's, which has much better sushi, or pick a restaurant nearby with better service.
OM Modern Asian is exactly that--a fusion of different oriental cuisines. Located on the northwest corner of 1st Ave & River, this moderately upscale restaurant serves up a blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine among others. Come for the happy hour which offers specials on appetizers, entrees, and drinks. Sign up for their mailing list as they periodically... More
We tried OM on a Groupon and had such an amazing time that we can't wait to go back. The interior is very trendy with a central bar, but there are also tables and booths clustered in a way the allows for privacy, or seating for large parties if need be. We had some of the best service I've seen... More
And in a very attractive atmosphere. A very enjoyable evening was had. We do not eat meat and the server offered to prepare the dish I wanted without the sausage. The dish came properly made and was quite tasty,
We went here for dinner on Sunday evening. The place is in competition with several other popular restaurants that are adjoining. The other restaurants were doing a brisk business with customers waiting outside to be seated. This place, however, was empty except for a few people. The servers were busy trying to look busy, but really had nothing to do.... More
This is one of the few places in Tucson you can get asian fusion food. --- Chinese/Thai/Indian. Food good, service excellent, but go early unless you like deafening. Some idiot designed the place to maximize noise. Great happy hour. My wife loved her salmon. My Hong Kong shrimp excellent. Prices reasonable . $17 entrees
The most economical way to experience the great Asian food at OM is to go for happy hour...3-6 PM when you can get half priced drinks, appetizers and main dishes. The room is quiet, the food is Asian fusion and excellent. For Saki lovers, OM has an extensive number of very good and reasonably priced Saki. Served warm, Saki adds... More
