We stopped in for an afternoon bottle of wine and some snacks. Grilled artichoke - marvelous, everything else - marvelous. Picked up two great cookbooks signed by the chef. Marvelous.

Just tried la Boca tonight. Very disappointing in every aspect. We had a reservation and our table was given to a couple without a reservation who walked up behind us. The hostess lied to us and told us they had a reservation, but the couple had just told us 5 mins before they did not. Service was slow and unattentive....

La Boca wasn't around the last time I was in Santa Fe, and they're more Spanish/Mediterranean than New Mexican or Mexican. It's nice to have a little bit of a different flavor in a modern setting. The waitstaff is well-informed and the menu is diverse and solid. You'll leave happy.
I recommend the artichoke grilled and the duck Omg!!! Very tight seating a chance to visit with your neighbors easy! Very efficient service great wine selection my husband had the sherry our waiter recommended he loved it. Never miss this one when we visit SF. Enjoy!
Excellent service, food quality outstanding, friendly and accomodating staff, reasonable prices. Be sure to make reservations as they always seem to be full.
The service was bad. The waiter seemed to be distracted and never gave our order any attention. We had to hail down other waiters to get water, menus, and checks. Seating in restaurant was crowded and noisy. Food was good but expensive. We would not recommend La Boca.
Delicious tapas that delighted the taste buds. It was very busy--make reservations! Our table was next to the window which was agreeable. Further in the tables seem a bit close together.
Wonderfully cooked small plates (especially the grilled artichokes) accompanied by the flight of sherries. A popular small place where you really must show up on time for your reservation...but you'll be glad you did! We came back for lunch a few days later and found it equally enjoyable.
Dinner at La Boca May 21. Reservations for a party of 6 and were seated on time. Menu is a bit difficult to navigate unless one is familiar with tapas menus. The server was helpful, (perhaps not happy), explaining the idea of shared dishes. All dishes we ordered arrived in a timely manner and were well prepared with quality ingredients....

Besides yummy tapas, the dessert is to die for! Sponge cake topped with crème fraiche and vanilla essence, surrounded by marinated sour cherries! There were 6 of us, and we had the most wonderful evening in this casual, intimate bistro-type restaurant. The service was very attentive and we enjoyed meeting the executive chef who spent time chatting with us. Be...
