We stumbled upon Diegos while walking around Newport and were pleasantly surprised. We had a late breakfast/brunch. My husband had a breakfast burrito with chourico and black beans which he loved. I had the salmon quesadilla which was very good. Definitely worth the visit..

I have been remiss in not reviewing this place sooner. It's a gem. Menu is inspired, just different enough to be interesting. All food is fresh and delicious. Outdoor seating was very nice. Service was adequate. The only slight negative was the music was too loud, but it was turned down when I asked about it. How nice! Go hungry... More

Diego's is near the waterfront in Newport. They have great food and great brunch cocktails!! Try the Beano. It sounds weird, but is a delicious drink similar to a bloody mary. The prices are reasonable and the service was excellent at the bar. We went there early on Sunday, Cinco de Mayo, before the crowds and had an excellent brunch.... More

Diego's is a fun, young atmosphere. I was recently in Newport for my bachelorette party and we went to Diego's one night for dinner (recommended by a young local). The place was packed and very lively, which is the type of vice we wanted. Unfortunately we were not very pleased with the service. The bartender was great, but once we... More

We went to Diego's because a friend recommended it. We probably wouldn't have gone there by looking at the place and its menu, unless we had a sudden craving for Mexican food in Newport. We were immediately seated in a crowded, college-student-type seating area. The hostess was very friendly and casual. We ordered guacamole for the table and three main... More

I have been to diegos multiple times and always love the food and atmosphere, this time however was an extreme disappointment. After we were sat down, we waited over 15 minutes for a server to even awknowledge us. Once the waitress came over she was not even remotely sorry for the wait. We ordered our drinks and an appetize which,... More

I've been to Diego's 5 times and have been disappointed. This is my go to spot when I'm in Newport. My last visit was on Tuesday nacho night and I ordered the shroom nachos for $8. Needless to say it was plenty of food for my gf and I. We also ordered one drink each and the bill came to... More

Best nachos we've ever had! Unique & very flavorful. Cozy place. Chris is a great, attentive Bartender. Going back again today!

Drinks, especially the spicy ones, were great. Don't go here or an intimate night out. It's noisy and crowded with a lot of college students.

I went here on a suggestion from a friend and was not disappointed. The resturant has a cool vibe, located off of Thames Street with various parking lots around. The menu offered a variety of choices for seafood, poultry, pork, and steak with a Mexican flair. My boyfriend and I started with the chicken nachos and they were gone within... More
