A friend told me to stop at Leonard's for some malasadas on this trip to Oahu. Well, my wife and I stopped. We ordered one of each flavor for the original and custard filled ones - WOW. I immediately fell in love with each flavor. Though, the custard filled ones were still yummy, I liked the original the best. They... More

A little bit out of town but well worth the trip. Yummee pastries and so cheap!! The queue was down the street.Needless to say we took a fair whack back to our hotel for later.

What's not to love about freshly made malasadas (portugese donuts) with your choice of filling? We tried the chocolate and passion fruit (which was the taste of the month) and we also had the cinnamon, which were my favourite. My friend didn't like the coconut ones there so we didn't order them... They were fantastic!

We had never heard of Leonard's before we arrived but had to give it a go. We walked from Waikiki but it is a long hike and there are buses. You can buy theor famous filled donuts individually but try to stop at one.

If you're on Oahu, you need to stop by Leonard's. The original are the best, but the custard filled is a close second. There are no tables only a few benches out front. Be prepared to wait a little, but it's worth it.

This was my fourth or fifth time at Leonard's (who keeps track) and it is a must do for me... Being a self confessed donut junky I hit this place a few times when in Oahu. Took the DS and he is HOOKED. Krispy Crème who? Its always busy even at 2 in the afternoon. It wasn't crazy today and... More

They have very good malasadas... including the ones filled with coconut syrup! But remember that is a bakery, and, therefore, you don't have too many choices.... But it's a good place to eat, if you're a suggar-addicted! Lol

We tried a few places for malasadas, but found the well known Leonard's to be the best. I should correct that, the best malasadas we ever had was at Chef Mavro's, but that is a different angle. Now of course, we are tourists, and I am sure more educated locals will probably have better research. There is no finer way... More

Leonard's Bakery is the very best, and you'll get fresh, hot Malasadas (Hawaiian donut) right of the fryer. Try the powdered sugar, innamon or custard-filled. Excellent staff and fast service when long lines. Try it!

Wow! I had heard the hype about malasadas, but I wasn't a believer till I got myself a warm, fresh, sugared, custard-filled pastry from Leonard's. I'm not ashamed to say I scarfed it down right outside the front door and marched back in to get 4 more (Ok, maybe a little ashamed...). They have seasonal flavours as well as traditional... More
