We really enjoy most of the menu items, lau lau is excellent, we found that we have a L & L here in Salt Lake City, however it's not the same taste for some reason.

Run don't walk when you come across this L & L location. We have tried several locations when we come to Oahu and this one was disgusting. L & L Drive-inn is a local favorite with pretty good plate lunch. Unfortunately, they sometimes charge extra for certain sides, depending on the location. Other than that, it's a great place for Teri-Chicken
Atkins lovers will not enjoy this plate lunch fast food restaurant, but thousands of hungry locals and tourists will give it the nod for tasty, filling, carbo-intensive calories at a not broke da wallet price. We ordered 2 Fried Chicken plates and the meat was cooked beyond well done. It was as if it was cooked for days.
