Warm and friendly greeting, great choice on the menu, brilliant service. Everything we ordered was delicious and the price was reasonable. We would definitely recommend!

We ate here a couple of times recently whilst on holiday in the area. The food was delicious, prices were reasonable and the service was superb. One of our party has a gluten intolerance, her needs were catered for really well and the young waitress...who served us went the extra mile. A great experience meaning that we went back to the restaurant on our last night. The bar next door to the restaurant is also really good, we had the best Aperol of the holiday there!!More
We arrived late and a lovely waitress found us a table inside the courtyard which had a lovely atmosphere. All the waitresses were lovely and friendly and seemed to be having fun working together too. We had pizzas - they made up a special one...to my partner’s wishes, followed by tartufo nero ice cream dessert and a crema catalana which came on fire and was lots of fun (as well as being delicious!). With water and a beer, the bill came to a very reasonable €33.50! We would definitely return and recommend.More
Excellent Pizza first of all, and very good local food. We were 8 persons with different dishes combinations, simply tasty.
We were lucky to get in without a booking - a fabulous view over the valley with some of the best pizza of our entire trip - all al fresco & clearly very popular with the locals (I can see why!)
We were in Casole a couple of nights and found this restaurant which we went to both evenings. We loved the delicious, imaginative food and the staff were lovely. We don't usually bother with pizza but the 48 hour risen dough pizza was a revelation,...Wish we could have been there longer.More
An enjoyable homely restaurant that offers good value and genuine service and food. Doesn't try to be chi chi or over the top but delivers well and in a nice atmosphere.
delightful restaurants in casole de elsa. six of us went in before they stopped serving lunch. the pizzas and pastas were excellent. It’s a comfortable welcoming restaurant and so glad we all tried it.
Would not recommend this restaurant. Food is OK, but for the same price you will definitely find better quality in Casole d'Elsa and surroundings.
Appeared a nice restaurant from the outside so walked in and were given a table and menu quickly but that was it. We walked out after about 30 minutes of total neglect. So tonight thought we'd give it another go to give it the benefit...of the doubt. Waited well over an hour for a bowl of pasta which, in fairness was good, but the service was not only exceptionally slow but the 3 waitresses were down right rude. Such a shame as this is our last night here and we were hoping for something better. There are much nicer restaurants in the village. Shame as this has potential.More
This was our 2nd visit in a week. Nice food, excellent price-quality. However, when we asked for the dessert-card the second night, the waitress, a young girl, slammed it in a really rude way on the table. Untill that moment everything was more than ok....There was no reason whatsoever for this kind of behaviour. Result : instead of spending more money, we decided to leave and have dessert and coffee elsewhere. Or : how one rude young girl can spoil a nice evening just like that.More
We sat down and the table cloth was dirty, not a good start, the food came (after a long wait) and was ok, its hard to get a bad meal in Italy, it wasn't bad, but we wouldn't return.
We're Sorry sir, it must have been a sight. We're also sorry for the wait, maybe it ll be in a night of confusion.
Always our favourite Sunday lunch venue when in Tuscany. The Antipasti is so good, the variety of percorino cheeses and the tasty sauces. My husband had the Tuscan sausages and beans which he loved. Very tasty with a rich sauce. Both my son and I...had pizza. Crispy with lots of topping. This family run restaurant has high standards and is always worth a detour if you are in the area. Good wine list too with lots of reasonably priced gems. The inside room too is lovely after a tasteful redecoration.More
We have been coming to Casole for 25 years and have dined at Il Porrina many, many times. The food is always good, and the people running it are always friendly. We feel as though we are dining with family. It is not an expensive...place. We recommend it highly. I love their pizzas. We have tried many dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed.More
Good pizza’s for an excellent price. If you have space left you should try the tiramisu. The restaurant also has a new modern design.
