Went out for food and drinks Friday night Great service, quiet and relaxing, we will be back The food was o.k.nothing really to complain about, but the Chef needs to take it to the next level, they are just about there Just a little more thought has to go onto the plate.

Our meal was very good however my husband's mashed potatoes were on the cold side and my chicken penne would have been nicely finished off with some parmesan cheese. The Chilean wine though, was delicious! Would eat there again.

I had a typical full breakfast while staying at the Inn on the Lake. It was a very good breakfast, lots of food and presented nicely. My waitress was very nice and attentive, but not too attentive, if you know what I mean.

We stopped in for an early dinner on the way to the airport and were seated in the fine dining room with a view of the Lake. Was in Halifax for business and we went to this restaurant for lunch, my associate recommended seafood chowder and haddock so I took his advise. Seafood chowder was creamy and full of seafood and the haddock is good too. Service is good too.l

We live in the neighborhood of the Inn on the Lake and we dine there frequently. We had a lovely meal tonight of Chicken Kiev, which was one of today's specials. Did not stay at the hotel but had dinner here with friends. The quality of the food was at best poor to average for above average prices. The waiter was down right hostile. Granted they were very busy that evening but still no excuse to be unkind to paying customers. I would recommend driving the extra 10 minutes to Dartmouth... More

I had a business dinner here recently. The restaurant was very tastefully done. The food was excellent as well as the service. When I got the bill for the evening, I was surprised that it was not more than what it was. Would recommend this place for relaxed dinner.
