Hard to find, way up in the hills. Seemed like it would be a good place when we arrived but the food was ultimately kind of tasteless.
WE were so very disappointed in this place , having been looking forward to "real creole" cuisine. The welcome ( well , there wasn't a welcome) was very lukewarm , verging on dismissive. Opposite the Caraib Bay hotel, they have a small dining room - You really need to book to ensure a place. Takeaway menu offers a good choice and you can serve yourself a variety of Rum punches while you wait. Food tasty - take away good value for money.
We went there after consulting TripAdvisor and saw that it was ranked amongst the best. We were greeted by the very welcoming couple. The food was just exceptional. We didn't expect it to be so great since the place didn't look the that great and the kitchen was so small. You can also order take away from Passion Creole, which... More
Excellent meal and great hosts! My pregnant wife and I cycled 8km to this restaurant on a recommendation and it was well worth it. Crab starters were extremely tasty and the succulent lamb curry was typical Creole. The owner kindly offered to drop us back at our hotel...yes with the bikes...much to our delight!
on the guadeloupe forum I wrote extensively about this place.... everything we ate was delicious, except for accras which were not hot... small, 4 tables for rating in. don't miss the boudin and choice of rums from Marie Galente....
We ate here twice in the last week and it is very tasty. The only downside is there is not a lot of meat in the orders. When you take away the bone from the lamb (for example), there is is not that much actual meat. it does taste very good though! I still recommend it as it is very... More
A nice walk up the hill from the main roundabout near the entrance for the beach, you might miss this place if you weren't looking for it. Actually near Caraib Bay Hotel. Very small, with only a few tables. The servers were very accomodating, and everything seemed made to order. Some people order their food to go, which may be... More
