does anybody know the best method of public transport to get from naples to Lido di Ostia? having trouble finding anything on a google search. can you get a train direct? bus? thanks

Dear pistolLondon,

In general, you might consider making the trip if possible Mon-Fri(except holidays) when more metro trains run. Also, in general from Mon-Sat (except holidays) many trains run between Roma and Napoli.

You might consider using the local regional train from Lido Centro (or whatever station in Ostia is closest to you like Stella Polare, Castel Fusano, etc) to the last stop at Roma Piramide. Then you could transfer to the Roma Piramide Metro station on line B direction Rebibbia to reach Roma Termini 4 stops away. Then from Roma Termini FS Train Station you can catch one of so many trains to Napoli Centrale.
