Hotel is very good, bit away from centre, but walkable distance. The staff is very friendly, we really liked the experience.. Turnov is a nice city and a gate to Cesky raj - "czech paradise". You should visit that place..

We had a very pleasant stay in this small, family run hotel. Our room was clean and functional with plenty of hot water and clean towels. Staff were friendly and keen to help. One staff member spoke good English. The hotel is well located in central Turnov, the main town in he Bohemian Paradise National Park. A good working knowledge of German helps in this town as English is not commonly spoken. A great base for hiking in one of the Czech Republic's most beautiful regions, which is sadly little known to foreigners.
hotel is situated in the centre of the city, close to the main square, churches, supermarket, museum, banks, 2 mins walk from the beautiful park, train station is 10 mins by taxi, it has its own restaurant. you can have free wifi in your room. staff is helpful, polite and friendly, breakfast is good, including fresh orange juice. everyday room service.
i stayed for one week for business trip, and would definitely come again for holiday.
I was afraid, must be honest. Not to many hotels in small town like Turnov. This was suppose to be one of the finest in town. Looks much worse, than the sunny pictures here on web. But still ok for the price. Parking area (but closing at 23:00 pm - no one can get out or in !) is righ behind the hotel, which is ok. Restaurant is only one - small, it is more like pub, then the restaurant. Rooms fine, there is shower, toilet, bed and TV - all you need from three star hotel in small city. I was pleased.
We stayed there a 12/04/2012 for one night only. Haven't booked in advanced, just got to the hotel and paid for the room. The place is really nice, there's internet too, but we haven't used it. It was not exepnsive, but I think we were there during low season. the staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast was good, although we were a bit late, so there was not much left. I would definitely come back there. or recommend it. It's only 5-7mins from the main square (where the TIC is) and it's well signed.
Very hard beds, dirty sheets and towels, old pipes in the bathroom just above your head. The water was brown and cold and that was in their top priced suite... No amenities in the rooms, no phone in the rooms, very slow wifi, no good service, the staff just doesnt care...
