Stayed at the Alinn Club for two weeks June 2010, booked through teletext a Goldtrail holiday (fortunately we returned just before they went bump).
My booking was for the Alinn Boutique, both my booking and hotel voucher said " Boutique" but on arrival (at the Boutique) I was told "no room at the Inn" and unceremoniously carted off down to the Club, on arriving at the Club was then allocated a room that can only be described as a dungeon, below ground level, a balcony with a wonderful view of the sky (if you looked straight up). At this point I think fair to say I was not best pleased, from a 5 star to a dungeon but due to our late evening arrival I waited to the next morning to address the situation.
First thing I went onto reception and phoned the rep in Marmaris, after about an hour and numerous phone calls I was informed there was no chance of a room at the Boutique but I would be upgraded to a better room at the Club and that was the best I could expect, I had little option but to accept. We where moved immediately to a nice room on the first floor a huge improvement on the dungeon.
The reason why I write the above is to warn anyone thinking they are getting a fantastic deal at the 5 Star Boutique to be careful, the chances are you'll end up in the Club and as I write I've just looked at an advert for the Club on the net (http://www.agoda.com) and it is showing pictures of the Boutique, so be warned.
The Alinn Club is a nice hotel located in a very pleasant rural location about half an hours walk from the Village and beach ( Hotel puts on a free bus service to and from the beach). I found it a chilled place great for relaxation, the hotel had a really friendly feel about it with the all hotel staff and management all helpful and pleasant .
The hotel has its own section of beach with free sunbeds and bar, very nice and the food was fine, if a little repetitive but you want starve.
All in all had a fantastic time at the Alinn Club and would recommend it to anyone, just avoid the dungeons!
