Room was clean and reasonably priced. Accomadations are basic but bed comfortable. Beach is beautiful and restaurant nice. All in all good value for money if you are not looking for bells and whistles. A/C was cold and Tv in room. All in all not bad and I would recommend it. Bring a bottle of wine and enjoy.

We needed a one night stay in Negril and stayed at the Coral Seas Beach. Price was low and we did not expect to much as you usually get what you pay for. The grounds are nice, clan and well kept. The room was a no frills room. Nothing in there to make you more comfortable. So bring anything you would need. There were only 2 small bars of soap. Not even a plastic glass for your toothbrush. It was ok for one night but I would not stay a week or longer. That is all ok as long as you are prepared for it. Room was clean and bed comfortable. TV was old with a bad picture but it worked.
The restaurant is nice and on the beach. Food was good and reasonably priced. Had no time for the beach but it looked really nice. So location is great.
Overall service was lackluster. Receptionist couldn't care less about guests. No smile. When checking out no thank you for your stay and come back. You have to put down a deposit in cash and when checking out they first check your room before you get your money back and make you feel like you are a criminal. Maybe they had a bad experience but it still feels really bad.

So the big hammer fell in the evening after I did check out. Got a fraud alert on my Master Card. I used it to pay for breakfast in the restaurant in the morning. It was the only time I used it in Negril at all and the only time on this day. Someone tried to buy $850 worth of Hollister cloth in the US. So somewhere between the restaurant and the reception, where they do all the charges on credit cards my number was used to purchase cloth. I was wondering why it took so long to get me card back but thought it's because it was taken to the reception area and even joked about it with the waiter. Luckily my card was blocked and they can't use it but it's really inconvenient when you are traveling. Jamaican people are so wonderful and it is sad that a few bad apples spoil the reputation.
So all I can say, don't let your credit card out of your eyes and go do the charge wherever they take it.
I have been traveling to Jamaica at least 3 times per year in the last 2 years and never had any issues before and am disappointed it happened this time at this hotel's restaurant. So needless to say I won't be back here but choose one of the others.

Room tip: When staying here bring everything you might need. Hair dryer, shampoo, glass for your tooth brush, absolutely everything. Nothing is provided.

Again Coral seas out did themselves. My room is always ready and available when I arrive I took a large group and everyone was very happy with their accommodations. Beds are always comfortable. Shower nice and hot and pressure was good. Property quiet and clean and we always felt safe. Security always available and in sight. Just 15 clicks from the 7 mile beach. Ill always stay at this property. With them opening the Beach also it makes it twice as nice.

I was invited to visit Negril by the owner of Sunset After Dark. He told us that Negril was awesome. He was right we stayed at Coral Seas Garden as he suggested. I will be going back soon. I loved beach reach road. Easy access to every where on the strip. I will also be staying at Coral Seas again. The office staff was great so was the cook and the room attendants. A big shout out to Christine. Thanks to all for making our stay a success.

My husband and I recently traveled to Negril. We initially had booked at Traveler's Beach Resort, but when we showed up, we discovered they had overbooked and they moved us down the road to Coral Seas Beach.

After a very long day of travel, and being disappointed at the overbooking situation at the other hotel, I wasn't exactly thrilled to be staying at a different hotel than what I'd booked. However...in the end...it all worked out and I think Coral Seas Beach is actually a step up from the hotel we initially booked!

We were given a ground floor "suite" that had a kitchenette, two bedrooms, and two patio areas that overlooked the garden area. It was very nice. The main bedroom had a great AC that kept the room nice and cool. The room was basic, but was clean.

The bed and pillows were really comfortable. My only complaint (and I think pretty much every hotel on 7 mile beach would have this same issue) is that there were some beach parties happening down the beach that were really, really loud! I have no problems with loud parties (we even went to a few of them!) but it went on until 3:00-4:00 in the morning and we had a hard time sleeping through it. If you're a light sleeper like me, I would definitely recommend ear plugs.

The beach in front of Coral Seas was the BEST!!!! This is the part where I'm so glad we were moved from the hotel I originally booked. That hotel's beach was a small and crowded sliver of sand. The beach at Coral Seas was huge and perfect. The staff cleaned and raked the beach every morning and the lounge chairs looked very new and were very comfy.

My only complaint is the confusion I felt over the lifeguard/security service. On a few occasions, I saw a young man (later learned that his name is "English") help others with moving their beach chairs, but saw many others moving their own chairs without his assistance. One morning, my husband and I went to the beach and were deciding where we wanted to sit. English said good morning and asked how we are doing. I replied "ok!" and smiled at him. He came over and told me I was being rude. That it was his job to move lounge chairs. At this point, we had not even touched a chair....we were still scoping out where we wanted to lay. I was really upset by this interaction though as I definitely never want to offend or be rude to anyone! I was confused by it and tried to just steer clear of him the rest of our stay.

We didn't eat any food at the restaurant at Coral Seas, but we did drink a lot there! :) One of the women working the bar made the BEST Dirty Bananas I had all week!

All in all, it was a good stay at Coral Seas Beach. We walked to the grocery store each day for beer, walked the beach and really enjoyed our stay.
