I can't say enough about how great this place was. I stayed in Maia which was right on the beach and the view was amazing, the staff was nice, breakfast was yummy and the vibe was really relaxing. I can't wait to go back.

Uno Astro Lodge is like no other in Tulum. The peace and serenity that you feel while staying at this place is unreal. I would recommend this place to people who want to get away from their chaotic life style. It's a very primitive atmosphere, with no electricity. So if you like to camp, you will be in heaven as there are a few more amenities. The decor is simple yet creative. At night the place is lit by candles. By day you can explore all of the little rock gardens and astrology areas. There are a couple of dogs that live on grounds and they just have all a ball playing in the ocean and loving their new guests. It's just a super laid back atmosphere that will put anyone at peace. There were a lot of cute places to stay in Tulum, but I can't imagine staying anywhere else. To me, Uno Astro Lodge is exactly what Tulum is about...

Since it was my third trip to Tulum I was not expecting any surprises till I crossed the gate of this "Shanti Shanti" place right on the middle of Tulum's widest beach. I stayed in "Maia" wich is very close to the water but I guess they all have sea view. The room has a excellent outdoor private toilet that make you wonder at the stars while you have a fat hot shower. By the time you get to the breakfast room you totally just don't want to leave UnoAstrolodge for any reason except changing flight tickets...
The Argentinian Chef make you feel totally at home breaking all sorts of formality protocols, and cooks deliciously. They have resident therapists and musicians that keep this place with some special vibe...oh...if you go there don't miss the FullMoon Temazcal by any reason...
