Been five times now, and every time it has been terrific. How anyone could say that this is a weak attempt at French food, is clearly misinformed. Having spent a fair bit of time in Paris over the past 10 years, imho this is pretty close to many of the little bistros in St Germain but the food is better, much better. The short ribs are brilliant, as is the sardine rillette, both of which we have had several times, with consistent quality in each visit. As a fan of wine, I think the list is terrific with some great little wines that are not broadly available, and with fair pricing. Just had a 1999 Bordeaux, which was more than I would normally spend, however, it was a celebration and $88 for a ready to drink 13 year old Bordeaux was a price I thought was fair.
Dessert is not something we typically have, however, the apple tart and lemon tart are right up there with the best we have ever had. This is a terrific, good value french bistro, right in the middle of Kits! Wow, are we ever lucky!
