“last time... never again”
this weekend was the second of two bad experiences. the first was two weeks ago when my daughter and I checked in. 20 minutes into our stay tv was on and the maid waltzed in unannounced uninvited unneeded. I was in the process of changing. No knock nothing. called the desk and they promised to have the manager call me . Didn't happen. ok lets give them a second chance... This weekend (april13-15th) I was there again.. will I never learn . Check in was a tad long. I requested specifically NOT to be near either the elevator or the ice machine well right next to the elevator and to make matters worse there was a hockey tournanament booked in with teenage girls OMG. what a flipping nightmare . First the elevator now girls up and down the halls yelling and making fools of themselves . Called the desk to ask for security no one came . called again to ask for a different room. Sorry... none available. I am very upset. Left for a few hours .. came back went to bed all I heard was the elevator I am a light sleeper. or not sleeper in this case. Saturday got up after a few exhausted hours and went to my function. Came back several hours later and wanted to go relax in the jacuzzi. NOT happening why you ask the jacuzzi was overrun with teenage girls once again making fools of themselves so no jucuzzi for me . Went back to my room but not before stopping at every damn floor because all the buttons were pushed. now housekeeping is supposed to tidy the rooms mine wasn't bed still unmade no fresh towels or shampoo so not even a fresh shower for me. Called down to the desk to advise of the situation very unpleased. spoke withn manager on duty advised of litany of issues and she moved me to a floor with no kids(sat evening I requested this friday) and promised me parking would be taken care of for my troubles . finally some sleep for I AM EXHAUSTED. upon leaving sunday morning spoke with another woman on the same floor as I am now on and she requested a change of floors as well because of the noise and kids and they gave it to her friday evening. So I was lied to and the parking was not removed from my bill. I suggested that they speak wth the manager on call sunday morning and they took one day off for me. For someone who travels an awful lot, and spends lots on hotels I have so many other options and apparently not appreciated at this one .. will not be returning
