i stayed at the walper hotel for a weekend business trip in kitchener, and my overall impression of the place is good. the building itself did not impress me, did not have that warm feeling that i like but the staff there was great and very helpful. there was a french girl at the service desk that helped me with a few things and it made the stay away from home feel comfortable. she pointed out good places to eat, and other things to do in kitchener that i had questions about. i would come back to this hotel on my next trip, which is coming up soon, and i hope to see the cute girl with the accent again.
