The Tudor Manor is really an upmarket B&B Guesthouse, not
a full service Hotel, but within that definition it was excellent ...
It is a large house, in the eastern suburbs of Seaford, built in
a "Tudor" style. My guess is that the original house was built
in the 1920's and subsequently extended, but the core of the
building could be older.
We enjoyed a large, comfortable room that was furnished in
a "mediaeval" style - this is difficult to achieve without the result
looking "kitsch" - but in this case it was so well done that the
overall effect was very attractive. The ensuite bathroom was
The breakfast (cooked to order, not a buffet) was good and
the off-road parking was excellent.
If you do not require the facilities of a large Hotel but would
enjoy comfortable and stylish rooms in a quiet location then
this could be for you .. highly recommended !
