I stayed at the B&B Eskdale with friends at the end of May for one night.
When booking the room, I dealt with Debbie who was extremely friendly and accommodating. I asked Debbie to reserve 3 rooms for me if possible and explained that I might only end up booking 1 as I was still waiting for my friends to confirm. Even though it was a week before the bank holiday weekend, Debbie agreed to reserve all 3 rooms for a couple of days before I could confirm it which I felt was very generous of her.
When we arrived, Debbie showed us around the house, gave us our keys and told us what the choices are for breakfast. She then asked us what time we would like to have our breakfast and whether we would like her to prepare/get anything other than what was offered. We had our breakfast next morning which was delicious – there was a choice of cereal, muesli, juice and Debbie cooked us a full English breakfast too.
The rooms (we booked 2 rooms in the end – one with an en-suite shower, the second one with shared bathroom) were very well presented, clean and fresh with a stunning view to a huge garden. The en-suite bathroom in my room was small, but clean, modern and with shower gel and shampoo disposable for our use.
Both rooms had digital TV, small kettle for making tea or coffee (both supplied) and biscuits and clean towels.
Our stay, although a short one, was very pleasant and we would definitely come back next time we visit Liverpool.
