Last summer we had 3 days in London before our cruise on OCEANIA departed. Our 2 couples wanted to spend time outside of London seeing the countryside. We engaged the the services of Harry Norman for 2 days. Harry is much more than a tour guide/driver he becomes a friend. We were picked up in a timely manner each day at our hotel and while we had booked Harry for a whole day (5pm) ,one day we arrived back at 6pm and the other at 7pm( of course with our approval). We spent 2 wonderful days visiting the Cotswold,Stonehenge, and other bucolic settings throughout the countryside.Harry took us to a tiny village and led us to a small cemetery where Winston Churchill and his family where buried. We had lunch at 2 lovely pubs/inns,the Black Swan was one ,where we were not caught up in a horde a tourists. The vehicle was quite comfortable as I am 6'3" and the other husband 6'4".
We had to debark our ship early am in Dover and our flight was not until 8pm. We again engaged Harry who picked us up at Dover and we spent some time viewing the cliffs of Dover and then headed off to Canterbury Cathedral for a tour and then to Windsor Castle. As one would imagine it was a "zoo" there but Harry knew a out of the way pub that only the locals might frequent and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Upon completion of our visit to the castle Harry brought us to the airport. The cost for the 4 of us for the last day with Harry was approximately the same as the cost of the ship transfer which was refunded to us.We plan to visit England again and our first call will be to Harry to arrange for his services. You can find him at Harrystours.com.............
