This is an excellent small restaurant (seating about 30) suitable for a cosy winter evening or good eating at any time. Food and presentation delightful from small menu but with good range of choice. There is even the option of choosing from the bar menu (hamburgers etc) if nothing suits - although this is unlikely!

Lovely reception bar at entrance.

For this quality of food the prices are very reasonable - from memory 2 courses at £16.95 and 3 at £19 ish. - you will not be disappointed. Owners have run a number of well known restaurants in Newcastle - the chef is reportedly ex Fisherman's Lodge.

Very courteous staff,reasonable pricing,clean,all rooms have bathroom and the breakfast good.Extra bonus is they have wi-fi.

Very pleased with hotel, which is situated central to the amenities of lovely Jesmond.

Modern room, very clean and comfortable. Staff nice and friendly, plentiful breakfast which is served in a lovely dining area.

Excellent for a weekend break in the fab city of Newcastle!

This was our second stay in this hotel and things have only improved. First visit in summer of 2005 and again in Feb 2008, actually got the same room twice and in 2008 has been very recently done up to a high standard. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is fantastic. Easy walk into town or via the metro. Will stay again whenever visiting newcastle.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, the staff here were very helpful and friendly, so much so Charles gave us a lift to Gateshead !! The hotel has been under some renovations and which compliments the restaurant. Try the food as it is top notch.
