It was now our second time together in Edinburgh and I would never go elsewhere. We really enjoyed the family atmosphere and the very friendly way of Marc. There´s no help you wouldn´t be given from them and you can feel that they really enjoy what they do for their guests.
The breakfast alone is worth staying there and it´s really the best I had when being in scotland.
A bus stop (line 16) is 2 minutes away and so you can easily get access wether to the city or the ocean terminal.
There are a lot of good pubs in the area only 5 minutes walk. So if you like to have more than one beer there´s no need to call a taxi ;)
We really hope to find the time asap to go back there. It´s really worth a stay and a precious wee treasure.

- Pillars House Edinburgh, Scotland
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- Pillars house was originally built and owned by Crawford which were offices and a spirit store in the late 18th century. Most of the building still has a lot of its character left as you can see as you walk in through the main entrance. The courtyard where our free parking is situated was traditionally used as the delivery entrance where the horse and carts brought the whiskey from the highlands to be blended. ... more less
