We stayed here for a week in July and could not have been happier. Room with fantastic view of the lake, an amazing terrace right on the lake where we had a drink in the evening watching the sun go down. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are great. The location of the hotel is so central and is within the town's walls. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. A place to relax and enjoy Sirmione and the surrounding area.

My mom and I stayed here for two nights at the end of March to recover from a fast moving couple of weeks on the road, based on a Lonely Planet recommendation and recommendations on Trip Advisor. We didn't book in advance (it was off season and coming here was a last minute decision), just walked into the hotel, fell in love, and stayed. We both wished we had stayed here another night instead of going to Venice!

The hotel is a VERY charming family owned place, with a fantastic family taking care of everything for you and going above and beyond to make sure the stay is pleasant. The breakfast was FANTASTIC and they also offer great meals for dinner. The room was extremely comfortable, the view was great, and the dock on the water was PERFECT to relax on. We also loved the lobby/sitting area and the restaurant.

Sirmione is a beautiful town and we really enjoyed the location of this hotel,within easy walking distance of everything.

We stayed at Hotel Marconi for 3 nights in total and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent, the breakfasts are great and the rooms are OK for the price, if a little basic.
However, the main selling point of this hotel, for us, HAS to be the staff and their amazingly helpful attitude. Recommending an excellent restaurant, La Roccia, which we went to twice, and taking the time to help us plan day trips, going through bus, boat and train timetables and marking off places of interest on maps for us to take with us. Overall all of the staff, cleaners, night porters etc.. without exception were friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay.
The only criticism we would have of the Hotel is its general maintenance and upkeep, especially outside on the patio area where the sun-loungers are. This area is a little ‘rustic’ and would not be harmed at all by a lick of paint and a good clean.
Overall though, especially for the price, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

as other's have said - good place, good location etc. We stayed just one night, so were put in the annex, but that was also fine.

(Our stay was marred by the fact that Sirmione turned out to be disapointed - a real tourist trap. Going off-season would probably be much better, as the place is picturesque. I just never need to see another tacky pizza place or icecream shop for quite some time).
