Venice Times Hotel offers its guests a contemporary design and all rooms are bright and spacious with wooden floors, air conditioning and every possible comfort. The attention to detail, the elegant design of the furniture and the skilful lighting of spaces help to create an intimate atmosphere that pervades the entire structure. The hotel lies in the historical center of Venice, a few steps from Venice Casino, Ca' d'Oro and Grand Canal. The property is set 15 minutes' walk from La Fenice and Rialto Bridge.
I had the most amazing time here! The friendliest staff and the breakfast was DELICIOUS! I even had a birthday surprise, honestly the most attentive hotel I have stayed at. I loved everything about it and it was so close to every attraction which made our stay even more enjoyable as we were always able to get back at a good hour.

We stayed at this delightful, bijou hotel on a B&B basis on a city break with friends. Airport transfer by bus or taxi to the Piazzola Roma, and then a short walk, or by water taxi to the nearby quay. Friendly and efficient staff made our stay very welcoming. Rooms were very comfortable even with the air-con off. Reception gave each of us maps to guide us around the city which proved useful! Breakfasts set us up for the day's walking the city. Opportunities to sit in the hotel terrace/garden were limited by the rain! Regrettably, the hotel isn't wheelchair friendly as it's accessible only by the front steps and the lift isn't big enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in Venice. Reasonably priced. Clean, convenient to attraction and very accommodating. The breakfast served with the room is very good and they blew me away by recognizing it was my birthday (from my passport, I assume) and bringing out a breakfast bday treat! Best to take a private boat to/ from the airport as the public ferry drops you some distance and numerous bridges away😀

the hotel location is very convenient. it was literally a 5 minute walk from the train station. the staff was very courteous and helpful. unlike the previous poster, i felt very safe. the only negatives were the dimly lit room and shower door that was not leak proof. if you are arriving by a train, this is an excellent hotel to stay in.

Beware of this hotel. We were robbed within the hotel Lobby as there was no security guard nor any security measures in place. Hotel staff are also nonchalant about the theft and will not lend a finger to assist in tracing the thieves (group of 5) nor interested in reviewing how to improve the safety within the hotel. Staff just kept telling us that their job is to focus on check-in and not monitor if outsiders are loitering in the hotel and plotting theft. With the lack of safety assurance, we slept in fear that there might be a break-in to the room... Reception staff are defensive about the theft and say that it happens all the time and that it is not their responsibility to prevent theft from happening within the hotel vicinity nor are they concerned about preventing it from happening to other guests. Staff also mentioned that we are free to write reviews about the unpleasant experience (they don't care). So, stay at the Venice times hotel at your peril.…

Brilliant location, in the heart of Venice but accessed via a quiet alleyway. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Our room was excellently presented and the cleaning was of a very high standard everyday.

Venice Times was the sixth hotel I stayed in during my two weeks in Italy. It was also one of my favorites. It’s conveniently located mere minutes from the train station and down an alley way you wouldn’t see unless you were looking for it. The alley is quiet and a reprieve from the bustling crowds of Venice. From what I could see, the hotel has four floors and four rooms on each floor. It’s more modern than a lot of the other Italy hotels I’ve been in. The staff is friendly. And you had full control of the ac. Our bathroom was small, but functional. I did wish it had more hooks or counter space though. The only thing I didn’t care for was the ceiling speaker in the bathroom that broadcasts whatever is on tv in the room. I wish it had an off switch. My husband always had on the news or whatever English speaking channel he could find and I couldn’t get a reprieve from it. Otherwise, it was a lovely hotel and I would stay here again.…

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, so close to Bus and Train station which was amazing as didn’t have to walk miles with a suitcase. Front desk and breakfast staff very helpful, recommended somewhere to eat. Rooms were beautifully decorated and equipped. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit was delicious. Venice itself is stunning, wear comfortable shoes, and the gondola ride was 80 euros for 30 mins, but an absolute must do.
