We got 2 rooms that were adjacent but not connected. They were both nice, clean, bright, going with the style of the hotel but updated, everything looked new and harmonious. The bathrooms were modern but small, although not of an unusual size for european hotels. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, 1 1/2 block from the duomo. There's a buffet breakfast that is so-so. In response to some of the reviews, I need to mention there some flights of easy stairs to climb. We had a carry on each and it was no problem at all, and anyways they were very helpful at the hotel helping us with the luggage. If somebody is disabled it will present a problem but for anybody else, it should be no problem at all, they are very wide and short steps, nothing compared to what you are supposed to walk and climb in Firenze anyways.
The only recommendation would be to have some nicer toiletries and maybe some homemade stuff for breakfast, as a better variety of breads. Overall, a very nice hotel at a reasonable price.
