We stayed at the Tulips B&B at the end of June 2009 for three nights. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Paul. Once we negotiated the extremely steep second floor stairs (which are not mentioned on the website) to the suite, Paul proceeded to give us some very useful information about the city, including location of restaurants, park, tourist attractions, etc. Regarding the suite, it was quite spacious (compared to european standards), bright given a large skylight in the kitchen and very clean. The lack of pots and pans proved to be abit of a challenge when cooking evening meals (there is one medium frying pan and one pot). Also, the internet picture showed a washing machine in the kitchen, however it had been removed which was disappointing. Because we were there Friday thru the weekend, there was a fair level of noise from the corner pub into the wee hours of the morning. Barring that, the location was fabulous - very close to the park and easy walking to the city centre.More
