Arrived at the Hotel at 12:30a.m. following a flight from the UK. We had paid for our accommodation in May 2009 by bank transfer which had been clearly shown on our bank statement, however upon arrival with a down syndrome brother and a two small children we were told that there was no rooms left for us as they had never received the money and there was no water at the hotel. After a very lengthy discussion we were transferred to a basic appartment at 02:00am and asked to pay again which we did. To date the Hotel still hold on to the two payments even after being provided with bank statements, copy of transfer and speaking with our Bank Manager. At the time the Hotel Manager promised us the earth however whenever we try and contact him he is always unavailable. A very very poor service indeed. Thankfully we have an honest Bank who have re-imbursed us as a goodwill gesture and are fighting the hotel on our behalf. This Hotel should be prosecuted for theft!!!
