Welcome to LIthia. Villa Myrtia is one of 3 self-catering houses along with Villa Levanda and Villa Elia. It sleeps 5 people. It is a charming house with an antique brass double bed ( 140cms/4'6'') on the upper ground floor with a galley kitchen and bathroom. It has 2 balconies for outside dining. One facing the old windmills , the other to the garden and fields in the distance. The lower ground floor has 2 single beds and a traditional island stone couch-bed and a bathroom. You can still see the farmers ploughing the fields with mules and oxen and using donkeys instead of cars. It is a stunning lsland with dramatic cliffs and wonderful views. The air is pristine and in Springtime it is covered in a technicolour blanket of wild flowers. For many years it has been a very popular island with hill-walkers and artists alike. The beaches are lovely,each with its own identity, some sandy some pebbly.Some are accessible by car, some by boat and some only on foot so the choice is yours. The wonderfully clear blue Aegean sea is ideal for snorkelling. There is a bus service stopping outside the main gate which goes to the village and Agali beach plus the quaint north village of Ano Meria. We are happy to help with car/bike rental and any other questions you may have.

We had a wonderful stay with Haris and Sara. The property is fantastic and Haris really went out of his way to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. We loved the beautiful pool, the well stocked fridge and warm fresh bread left on the door every morning. Highly recommended!

Idyll on the Greek Islands
This place is amazing. Beautifully designed, comfortable and elegant. The hosts are charming and have thought of everything.. They cannot do enough for you, and breakfast is provided, as well as the unanticipated pleasure of being able to get my laundry done. Slept like a baby as the bed was so comfortable, and the setting is so peaceful and idyllic. Sunsets have to be seen to be believed. The bus to the beach passes the gate and it is within walking distance of the delightful village of Chora. Really good value for money.

Boutique hotel luxury with unrivalled attention and service from the owners.
Folegandros is a beautiful unspoilt island with breathtaking views and secluded coves and beaches. Staying at Lithia Villas has been a revelation. The photos on the website look very attractive, however, in reality the villas are quite stunning. Spotlessly clean (and cleaned daily by lovely Ava), crisp new cotton sheets and towels, ultra comfortable beds and lovely fresh pillows, the best showers we have come across on our travels - tons of hot water and both showers can be used at the same time without losing pressure or heat. Included in the villa price is breakfast of fresh warm bread daily, eggs, yoghurt, butter, honey, confiture, massive bowl of fruit, fruit juices, milk, coffee, (fresh ground, espresso, and instant) teas, all re-stocked as and when required. Haris and Sara, the owners, have made a huge effort to ensure their guests feel comfortable, relaxed and so well looked after. Their attention to small details make this a place to remember. They are so friendly and welcoming and their hospitality is sincere and well judged. The fact that they are so friendly and relaxed seems to influence all their guests and we made friends with both American and French people staying at the other villas. That said, the layout of the villas is such that this is not intrusive and privacy and space is still premium. The pool and surrounding area is equally well equipped and comfortable. We really couldn't find fault with anything and hope to return one day.

A complete Greek getaway - but with luxury touches
Folegandros is perfect get-away-from-it-all Greece, and only just recently is being featured in trendy mags on that basis. It's a rocky island with little bays, coves and lots of walks. One main village - Chora - is perched high up on a cliff with lovely restaurants and bars and plenty of postcard views.
Halfway along the island, and 15 minutes walk from Chora, owners Sara( Irish) and Haris (Greek) have built three lovely villas which bring to this getaway island lovely touches of luxury. The villas, which are serviced every day, have boutique hotel standard beds, bathrooms and plenty of other luxuries. We loved staying in Myrtia - especially just sitting in our porch drinking in the views of the lovely countryside and sea beyond.
Sara and Haris are proud owners and you need to take advantage of what they know about this island they clearly love so dearly.
We can't wait for our next visit.

A holiday at 'Lithia' is a wonderful, tranquil experience. The villas are beautifully appointed, and the owners take great pride in looking after their guests. There are many walks to secluded beaches and historical sites, while in the nearby village, you can sample classic Greek cuisine.

Fabulous
The accommodation is charming, and has been designed to a very high standard. Two terraces with plenty of shade, with wonderful views to the sea and fields, a wonderful rural setting. It is situated just 10 mins walk from the beautiful town of Chora, we thoroughly enjoyed our walks to and from the town, taking in the amazing views and sunsets. also our wqlks and runs down to the nearest beach. The bus stops opposite the villas, so you can always travel by bus to the town and also to the beach. Haris and Sara are the most amazing hosts and looked after us so very well, bringing us wonderful fresh bread and fruit for our morning breakfasts. We had an amazing holiday, and loved everything about Folegandros and Lithia Villas.

Lithia is a complex of three houses, situated just a short walk from the main village on Folegandros. Each house is completely self contained and has been finished to a very high standard. The rooms are tastefully furnished with a mixture of antique and modern pieces. The beds are really comfortable with lovely bedding. The houses are surrounded by a large garden and there is a very nice pool. There are stunning views to north and south and the sunset is spectacular. Lithia is run by Haris and Sara. Haris is a native of Folegandros so is a fantastic source of information about the island. Sara is of Irish origin, so you can imagine the warmth and hospitality on offer. Folegandros is one of the most unspoiled and beautiful of all the Greek islands and Lithia is a perfect place to stay while you discover the island's charms

About the neighbourhood
Villa Myrtia is one of 3 houses on the Lithia property and is situated in the peaceful countryside 10-15 minutes' walk from the pretty village of Chora. It is on the road towards the north village of Ano Meria. It is 1.5 kilometres to Agali beach on the southern side of the island where there are small local boats to take you to several other beaches, Agios Nikolaos, Livadaki and Ambeli. These are also accessible by foot.

There are regular ferries from Pireaus (near Athens) and during the Summer season there is a daily Superjet ( hydrofoil) service from Pireaus ( 3.5 hours)
From Santorini there are regular ferries to Folegandros and during the Summer season there are daily Superjet ( 40 minutes) connections aswell.

There is no airport on Folegandros ( there is a heliport). The nearest airport is Santorini. There are domestic connections from Athens with Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air.
There are direct flights from several European cities to Santorini during the Summer and charter flights operate from many countries aswell.
