Lovely arrival greeting from the owner Adrian, very unusual but he offered to help us upstairs with our cases, this is a very rare instance these days. Our room was lovely but a little on the small side with a nice view of the cricket ground. Well stocked tea and coffee tray. There was a good cooked breakfast with cereals plenty of tea coffee and toast.
It is a gay friendly hotel a good 20 minute walk from the seafront, all uphill on the return. There is not a big gay scene in Scarborough just 1 pub and 1 club far apart. The Albion pub can be reached along the cliff top in about 10 minutes but is expensive, prices are lower elsewhere.
Yes we would recommend this Guest House and Yes we would stay there again
