This is a good choice for a sunny lunch - though lots of other people will have the same idea. Sit outside and enjoy a lovely view of the south downs. Varied menu of standard pub fayre plus more imaginative items. Traditional but small pub on inside. Minus points - at least on the day we went - was that most of the tables are in full sun with no parasols provided. A slightly shaded area is available but it is immediately outside the kitchen with radio blaring. However, overall a great spot for lunch with tasty food and a super view.
