I stayed in this hotel for two weeks during our summer school organised in this small city between Bologna and Rimini. The hotel itself seems to be a bit antique, with antique furniture and painted ceilings. The service is very nice and the buffet breakfast was very tasty, even if everyday there was the same choice. The location is perfect because it is a stone throw away from the historical center of Faenza and the museum of majolica. Some other nice and traditional osteria (restaurants) are around, while the staff is always ready to help. Free usage of hotel's bicycles is possible.
Things that I did not like were not fault of the hotel: there is a huge church near the hotel and its bells basically can make you deaf since they go on and on for several minutes and during an inappropriate time period (early morning, afternoon). The price of the hotel is also a bit expensive for students or other non-business people.
All and all, I had a very nice stay at the Hotel Vittoria, which I would recommend to business people, but not to students, backpackers or other interested stakeholders.
Try to get the front rooms, which are smaller but more quiet. 111 is the biggest room, but it has it...
