Silk pavilions was a beautiful place, I would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance. The views are amazing and you really feel like you are around all of the nature but you lose none of the luxury. The staff and service were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Its very romantic, perfect for a surprise trip for your partner. Myself and my now fiancee got engaged when we stayed there. The pavilions are quite close together, that would be the only drawback for some people, however you don't really notice that they're there but it didn't really bother us. Would definitely stay again.

My husband did a surprise for me and I loved it. The weather was a bit rainy but it was still great. I loved comfortable beds with electric blankets. It was quite cold during night. The owners also provided a gas heater on the balcony and BBQ. The bathroom bathtub could be better as it wasn't that comfortable. The bathtub is outside so although we have chosen a tent with a tub we couldnt really use it as it was raining :( The breakfast was ok but very simple.

Hi Iza, Thanks so much for your lovely review and so glad you had a great stay with us. We do love the feedback from our guests as the only way we can improve is through you!

Re the bathtub, I agree, not so comfy but it is a traditional teak timber bathtub and I think comfort was not high on the agenda of the little man in Thailand who made this!! We are looking into how we could improve the comfort but almost all people enjoy it. Its huge and more like a spa tub. Now if you want to try a more comfortable bathtub then in our Bali Pavilion and our Thai Pavilion we have amazing, extremely comfortable stone baths. A wonderful experience.

We try and keep our breakfast in an Eco fashion. Simple, healthy and yummy. Muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, juice, toast and items from the bakery along with our home made honey and jams, occasionally guests are still hungry so you can order a hot breakfast and enjoy it up at the main pavilion. Its the full monty and delicious. Just ask for this next visit. Thanks again for your review.

Beautiful property surrounded by wildlife and wonderful views. Gracious hosts and amazing home cooking. This is perfect if all you want to do is relax (nap, play board games, read) and go for bush walks. Pack warm clothes because it's very cold and there's minimal heating. We experienced wildlife coming into our tent at night but that's what you can expect from the rustic accommodation. No phone reception. If you don't intend to do road trips during the day you must bring snack / lunch options (which can be cooked on bbq). All in all, a wonderfully, romantic and relaxing weekend. The highlight was definitely Sue's cooking. Can highly recommend for couples looking for a romantic get away.

Thanks Anna for your great review and thanks you so much for choosing to spend your weekend with us, especially flying all the way up from Sydney. Love to let future guests know that we do have mobile coverage up at the main pavilion on the Telstra Network(3-4 bars) Some guests can get reception down at the Eco's as well. Just depends on your phone.
We can also provide lunch if you wish to soak up the sun and enjoy your huge verandah without going out. Our picnic's by the lake are a wonderful choice.
If its cold the big patio heater will keep you cosy.
Thanks for the compliments on my cooking. I do love to cook and put my heart and sole into it, to make it a very special dining experience. We really look forward to welcoming you both back sometime. Wonderful guests. Try our Bali next time. Great bathtub!!!

This was a surprise weekend away and boy was I surprised! It was the perfect weekend away; a chance to get a break from all the noise and traffic of the city and escape to a peaceful bliss overlooking the mountains. The hosts Barry and Zoe were so welcoming and made us feel very much at home in our private Bali Villa. The food was delicious; highly recommend the pizza!!! Silk pavilions is the perfect weekend getaway!

This is definitely a place I wasn't keen to review in an effort to keep it secret.
One of our best ever stays was right on our doorstep. We stayed one night in the Thai Pavillion. Wish we had had longer and will definitely be back.
Breathtaking views from every window and verandah. Wallabies with Joeys right outside our door.
Barry and Zoe were the ultimate hosts, looking after our every need, but giving us all the privacy we could wish for at the same time.
We booked the candlelit dinner and it was amongst the best dining experiences we have enjoyed. Three healthy courses of delights. Don't miss the candlelit dinner option if available.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, we are scanning the calendar to find some time to return ASAP.
