I really enjoyed my time at parrotfish and would definitely stay there again. It's not right on the main street, so it's quite at night if you want a night in, but it's only a block away, so everything's easy to get to. the rooms were spacious and clean, and it was nice to have bathroom and shower directly off my room. there were multiple common areas to hangout, free bike hire, free breakfast and a TV room. However, it is really the staff that make it stand out. they are all very friendly, helpful, and make you feel right at home. my only complaint, as someone else mentioned, was that the hostel restaurant wasn't open. however, it was the off-season and the hostel was fairly empty while i was there, so it's understandable.
