Sven and Alice attention to guests is wonderful. Great meals and staff etc. Loved the boating.

I didn't want to leave but I had to. Paradise Bay was just what I needed. Things happened like magic there...luggage ended up in your bungalow after you got off the helicopter, nice warm wraps appeared around your shoulders when it got a little chilly at dinner...I could go on but hopefully you get the idea. I was lucky enough to experience the hospitality of both Alice and Sven and Tapa and Jane. Unfortunately (for the guests and Paradise Bay) it was Tapa and Jane's last few days as hosts when I was there. They are off to a new adventure. The food and wine were amazing, the boat trips were a blast (thanks Matt!), and the bungalow to retreat to was just right. (minus the wasps and scary big bug but that is why they leave a fly swatter in the room) If you need some time away to be pampered and have some fun at the same time this could be the spot for you. If you are lucky you will be sharing the dinner table and boat trips with an interesting and diverse group like I did. I can't wait to go back but it will have to be a few years. Next time this will be my last stop instead of one of my first stops.

If you are looking to spend a few comfortable days surrounded by nature, great people, amazing food and a little adventure, then this is THE place. You can feel great about the fact that this is a truly eco-conscious hotel. In fact, there are no tv's, no wireless connection and no mobile phone reception, which means you'll be able to truly disconnect and enjoy a wonderful time surrounded by nature. You'll only hear the soft waves of the ocean and the songs from the birds singing in the surrounding forest. The accommodations strike the perfect balance between luxury and simplicity; clean, comfortable, and truly beautiful. Again, the focus is to let you experience the surrounding environs, not to remove you from them. The views from your king bed will be like no other you've ever had. The fact that there are so few guests and that the host and chef (Alice and Sven) are fantastic people, will make you feel that you are a guest at their home adding to that feeling of relaxation. The food and wines are 1st class and beyond expectation. The daily sailing excursions will allow you to explore the neighboring islands and perhaps Whiteheaven Beach. We could go on and on... If anything written here sounds appealing to you, then go, but remember to come ready to relax.

The best holiday we've ever had. Quite unique in its conception and delivery. Perfect solitude, gorgeous weather, fine food and wine, great company and attention to our every need. This resort proves that it is possible to have it all without compromising on ecological principles.

The glorious evening meals under the stars were excellent examples of uncompromised cuisine enriched even further by the serendipity of the ever-changing cast of fellow guests.
