Our 4 nights at Quinney's Bush this summer were an absolute highlight. Our days were filled with fun & sun with lots of relaxing under the trees. After getting up late and having breakfast in the pergola outside the kitchen (with fridges & freezers) the kids spent an hour on the flying fox then grabbed their scooters for the skate park. After a picnic lunch at a table under a tree we took our scraps down to the animal paddock and played with some friendly farm animals looking for treats. We had a dip in the Motupiko river and used the slide and swinging rope for more thrill-seeking adventure before testing our skills on the confidence course and swinging on the huge tyre swing. The amazing waterslide opened at 2pm and, as with the flying fox, provided supervised fun for another 2 hours. Our days ended with BMXing, more river swimming and toasting marshmallows around the open fires allowed in the campground. I was able to check email at the office for a reasonable fee and found the whole camp to be clean and well maintained with hammocks, picnic tables and swing seats. Unlike other campgrounds we have stayed at in the Nelson region, this camp is perfect if you want your kids to be super-busy all day and fall into bed happy and exhausted every day. Bring their bikes/skateboards and don't expect to see them unless they are hungry!
