I watched a lot of movies growing up and many of them were glamorized versions of the actual criminals presented in the Museum of Crime and Punishment. Today, it's CSI, NCIS and media coverage of real cases that pique our interest. The Museum takes that veneer away and tells the real story of crime. You are taken on a fascinating walk through time, beginning with the barbaric punishments of medieval times, through the Witch trials, the Old West, gangsters, mafia, serial killers and much, much more, with interesting artifacts all along the way. More importantly, there are exhibits describing the tools now used to bring criminals to justice, from fingerprints to DNA. There are plenty of activities to keep the kids amused for hours, but lots for adults to learn too.
I was impressed with the extent and professionalism of the presentations, and highly recommend the experience.
