Very rarely do you find a true gem, this hotel is one such place. A hotel full of character that exudes charm. It is so peaceful here, away from the hubbub of the Medina, yet a short taxi ride away. The service from Youssef and his team is wonderful. The food, too, is excellent. We would definitely come back.

Stayed here for a week with my wife while exploring Marrakesh and surrounds. It is a stunningly beautiful place with exemplary service. We we're lucky enough to overlap with the owners, who proved very helpful for places and shops to visit.
Would have appreciated more ideas on trips outside of Marrakesh, and at a lower cost than hiring drivers for a day etc. I would also suggest local taxis would find the hotel better than claimed by the staff, you will save some pennies especially if you're there for some time - a private driver for a 10 minute drive into town is quite excessive.
Certainly it's expensive, but the location and service offer huge relaxation away from the city madness. Definitely recommend the in-house hamam. An unforgettable stay, I would come back for sure.

Thanks to all of the staff for making our stay truly one of the best holidays we have ever had. In addition to the unparalleled beauty and tranquility of the hotel, one of the principal reasons for returning here to celebrate another major birthday was Youssef. He had looked after us so well last time and we were looking forward to seeing him now as the manager. We cannot praise him enough. He has made us so welcome and comfortable and has really gone above and beyond the call of duty. I am sure Dar Zemora often receives high praise for the lovely place you have created, but I really cannot stress highly enough how wonderful it has been and how well we have been looked after. Absolutely EVERYTHING was first class, from the magical suite to the stunning gardens and pool, from the modern Moroccan food to the complimentary mint tea, and from the initial welcome to the thoughtfulness and little extra touches. I wish we could go there for a week every month....

Room tip: All the suites and rooms are perfect.

Another week in the Palmeraie - another happy customer !
This time the weather was a little grey some mornings which forced us to explore more of the Medina and local sights. As your confidence grows, the Medina becomes a place of fascination around every corner as you stray from the usual routes- and realise that losing your bearings is fun and safe..
Then back to DZ for the afternoon in the sun and lovely local food cooked by Jamila.
I have no doubt we will be back !

Room tip: There aren't many - and they are all lovely.

Dar Zemora is an oasis of calm and peace in the lovely Palmerie region of Marrakech. The gardens are stunning, with a perfect lawn, an abundance of exotic flowers, rose gardens, fragrant orange blossom trees in April-May months and a plethora of cheerful little resident birds. A wonderful place to rest, eat well and sunbathe by the pool. Jamila and Yossef and the team were helpful, warm and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we look forward to returning very soon!
