I travel to Africa often and hotels are largely disappointing. In Nigeria's case, they are generally downright bad unless you are willing to pay upwards of $300 per night. Even then, no guarantees. But this little boutique hotel is a gem I accidentally discovered on the net and I think I have found my base for future visits to Abuja. I stayed there for five nights in late November and utilized three of the four rooms at different times. The location was challenging to find for my clients, and it would serve them well to put a sign somewhere on the outside, but for convenience, it is just a few minutes from the core of the city and about 30 minutes from the airport. The place is new and informal. They picked me up at the airport (but at a price); had working internet, plentiful hot water, back up generator, security, and NEW, clean, rooms. EVERYTHING worked. Staff was friendly and unobtrusive. Basically, nothing to complain about. This would be the perfect location if a business party wanted three or four rooms. There is ample space for meetings or even hosting about 15-20 guests and colleagues. Breakfast is NOT FREE--but it is available. Transportatin arrangements were made. No standard HOTEL amenities such as late room service but you can get the driver to take you anywhere in a nice car for a price. This is not "locally" owned. Owners appear to be Scandinavian. Infer what you will from that but it does not taint or alter my objectivity. Highly recommended!
All rooms are good but they vary in size. There are only four to choose from. One on the ground floo...
