Had a wonderful experience with great games drives and fantastic accommodation, made only better by the friendly staff, guides and Manager Cyrus. The set up of the camp is great from the tents on the river with ensuite, hot water, solar power and personal Masai guards to escort you around the camp. Hippos and crocs only metres away in the river while your completely safe above on the river bank. Fantastic experience and would highly recommend.

Room tip: Tents are right on the Mara river and inside the Masai Mara Reserve

First of all thank you to all the Staff that made my holiday a memorable one. The new location is breathtaking. Being on the Mara river is definitely an upgrade. We spent 4 nights at Mara Eden and I only went out on game drive once, there is so much to see in camp. The river is infested with hippos and crocodiles and just sitting outside my tent watching pure Nature unfold before my eyes. Everyday a small herd of Elephants came to drink, Impala fighting, crocodile eating a zebra and much much more. The tents are elegantly decorated, very spacious and the showers were the best on my whole safari throughout Kenya. The food was excellent but had to undo a button on my pants. A big thank you to Cyrus the Manger that remembered that it was our anniversary and the chef made a lovely cake for just the two of us. Sundowners on the rock on top of the camp was breathtaking and watched 5 lions across the river sleeping while sipping on a glass of vino. The Owners joined us on the rock the last night and had some great stories to tell us about their life living in the bush. Thank you once again for making our holiday a once in a life time. Will be back soon.

Room tip: We stayed in Tent 1 but all the tents are located on the river

I had an amazing time here over Christmas. Where do I start....
The staff were friendly and helpful, everyone from the manager Cyrus, to the Masaii security guards who escorted you to your tent every evening. The tents were luxurious, views over the river with hippos's and crocodiles, a hot water bottle at night.

Electricity is solar powered. This powers the lights in each room. Power boards for charging electricals are in the dining test, but there was never any problem getting points. The hot water for the showers was lovely and hot.

The food was good. I enjoyed lunchtime under the trees by the river, and the packed breakfast on the morning game drive.

I like the policy of each group travelling together getting their own guide for the game drives. As a keen photographer this meant I was able to see what I wanted, and wait for the action, without having to worry what other guests wanted to see.

The Mara is an amazing place. I can't wait to come back, possibly for the Migration.

I cannot explain how amazing this place was, the service, the welcome, the authenticity of the whole Safari experience along with 24/7 Masai's at the door. Don't look elsewhere, this is the right place. The owner is wonderful and welcomed us. The tents are not your ordinary tents, think white sheets, rugs, hot showers, amazing 3 course meals, sunsets...all without losing the natural feel of the surrounds... its the works !
we were in view of the river and there were hippos happily lounging about.. in no danger !
Highly Recommended
