This hostel is one of the best places to stay in Boracay! The rooms are clean and private. The staff is awesome! There is no reason not to stay here! The location is a short private walk to White Beach. You can even arrange for staff to transfer you to the airport. During my experience I can not say a bad thing.

I went here with my sister and friend on June 2012, as backpackers... A really pleasant stay, nice room, nice staff, and nice view. The price is very affordable... Plus, it's near to the beach and D'mall.

We were welcome by nice lady and welcome drink for us. Deluxe private bungalow with air condioner is OK. This place is a little bit noisy in the early morning, 2 mins to walk to the beach.
Nice place to stay with good price!

To set the tone for this review - let me tell you that I have travelled all over the world, stayed in some beautiful 5* places, some dives, etc. But this place makes my top 5 places to stay of all time.

For the price, the traditional style cottages provide very good value - considering this is a backpackers place the setup is very good. Very clean and they change your towels every few days.

However what makes this place so great is the staff and the setup. Jeff and Rebeca welcomed us like long lost friends, offering us a drink in the bar while they prepared our room (we checked in early too). From that point on nothing was to much trouble and everyone remembered our names. Seriously, these people could teach 5* resorts a thing or two about good customer service. The atmosphere is very social, with a long table in the bar which really encourages people to socialise. As a result we made a great group of new friends within about 2 hours of arriving. Perhaps we were just lucky, or perhaps Frendz just attracts like-minded laid back people.

Other things to note - happy hours twice a week with live music til 9pm - really nice touch. Free use of the beach and loungers at the steakhouse on the beach - 2 min walk away. You can put drinks on your room tab. The location off the beach is actually a positive as otherwise it would be much louder in the resort.

Try to get a room away from the main centre of the resort which are then shaded and quieter. Rooms facing the bar would have been noisy in the early morning. there will be general village noise etc, but that is the Philippines all over to be honest. free wifi in the bar area.

Regardless of my budget, if I ever go back to Boracay then I will not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Rebeca and Jeff, hope to see you again!

My family and a few friends all stayed here after my sister's wedding, and were all so glad we did, from the moment we all checked in the staff were so friendly, the location was awesome as well, just a few minutes away from the beach.. We stayed 5 days and it really wasn't enough, my brother and cousin actually stayed a day longer at the resort seeing they enjoyed it so much, the staff treated us like family, and for that I will stay here every time myself and my family go back to Boracay.

Room tip: Hire the huts either with aircon or no aircon, we chilled on the porch some nights drinking and just chatting.
