Recently my son's pre school organized an Educational Tour for all students at Crocolandia, a conservation park located in Biasong, Talisay City, Cebu Philippines.
Indeed it was a min zoo! A small place but packed with a variety of animals like birds, snakes, crocs, pigs, deer, tortoise and iguanas. They even had Ostriches.
A guided tour was held for the children along the ponds filled with crocodiles, fish and some birds. They even had a crocodile feeding event for kids to watch! It wasnt my favorite part tho! ;)
The tour also included a walk thru cages filled with iguanas, birds, tortoise, wild pig and snakes!! yikes!!
After the tour a short lecture on animals and their eggs was held in an area with a huge python (in a cage of course!!) on the left and some dead preserved crocodiles on the right.
Very reasonably priced and a good place for kids and adults to learn more about animals. I would suggest tho for parents to hold on to their tiny tots while walking above the ponds filled with crocs. That was the creepiest part for me since I was almost certain that a croc would suddenly come out of the water and say hi! :)
