I spent a 5 day vacation in Premier Romance, Just arrived home and i thought one of my priorities is to write down a review for what they deserve to be said.

I spent the vacation as a solo and i would say that even when the hotel is a Romance Category Hotel; i did enjoy my time to the maximum. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are very much up to the standard of 5+ star hotels. The sea view rooms are superior. A big variety in Food with an extra 2 italian and chineese resturants beside the open boufet. The fact that it is an adult only hotel makes it one of the best hotels i ever checked in as you would never hear any noise if you are really hitting a relaxing vacation.

the shore is great very clean and well equipped. lots of corals and fish within the area which you can snorkel around and enjoy. Enjoy the sun with a drink all around the day.

Not to much entertainment but that is completely understandable with the nature of the hotel.

the only draw back is that even when the majority of the staff are helpful and cheering and do start some nice conversations i have to recommend that they should have a little more training when it comes to bringing orders in a faster time.

Overall I enjoyed the Hotel alot and im very looking forward to check in again soon...

I special Thanks to Mr. Sabry the Manager and Ibrahim the very nice barman and Abdo the Towels' guy on the beach they are probably the best staff out there

Very Recommendable and you will enjoy a great vacation with a great money value.

Overall rating 4.85/5

We spend 7 nights at Premier Romance at the beginning of August as a couple and I know now that it was the best possible choice for a charming vacation in Egypt.
Sahl Hasheesh is a wonderful location with beautiful buildings and a promenade area watched over by dates full of mellow fruits. It is probably the most exclusivist in the area of Hurghada.
The hotel is small and yet impressive due to its graceful architecture. The seaview rooms which represent the large majority are all full seaview. Actually all looks exactly like in the official pictures. Large rooms with comfortable beds and spacious balcony towards the beach of the blue clear Red Sea.
The pool is small on the terrace of the first floor with direct access to the sauna and the spa. Yet, we got so in love with the beach and the clear waters of the sea that we spend most of our time on the beach. There is no need for special shoes for the hotel area of the beach.
Grace to the adult only policy, the area is quiet and propitious for relaxation and romance. So, I highly recommend it for couples and for the solitary.
The food in the main restaurant is diversified even though a little to salty for my taste. The sweets are fantastic. The Chinese and Italian restaurants were good, although the recipes seems adapted to the Egyptian style and we would have liked to have more options on the menu.
Our only disappointment was the snack bar, which was extremely poor. We tried only once to eat something in between the main meals and we found only small sandwiches with no taste and hand-served sweets left from breakfast (not the best example for a proper hygiene).
Except this specific point, everything went smoothly and very satisfying. As everybody else described it before, the manager of the hotel is very attentive to all guests and generally the staff is polite and welcomes all requests with a smile. The guys at the reception were very helpful, especially one guy rather small with blue eyes who also helped us with the luggage when we left. I am terrible with names but he was also the one that found the solution when we wanted to exchange money for our trip to Cairo while their exchange office was closed late in the evening and they asked the shuttle bus chauffeur to exchange it Hurghada for us. They even noticed that it was my boyfriend's birthday during our stay and they surprised him with an anniversary cake that was brought to our room in the evening.
I already miss this location and I only regret that due to the optional trips we took, we didn't spent enough time at Premier Romance and in its surroundings. We plan to repeat our trip next year.

Room tip: We prefered the right side of the hotel, where there is no noise caused by the air conditionner machine on the roof.

We,ve just got back from spenting 10 nights at PRBH and have got to say this was the perfect break for us.We emailed the hotel for limo transfer before our arrival and for 40dollars return we were picked up at the airport in a nearly new roadworthy car with proper ac and avoided the waiting to fill a coach and numerous drop offs as encountered on previous visits to hurghada.
Our solitary arrival at the hotel ensured no delays for checkin either just a welcome drink and scented towel to freshen ourselves up.
We were given room 1120 which had full sea view just yards from the fanatastic beach which is natural sand allowing you to wade into the the water without the need for reef shoes or walking along platforms and plunging into deep water that is so common in eygpt.I won,t comment to much on the room itself ,only say that it surpassed our expectatations and was kept really nice for the whole of our stay by our friendly housekeeper mohammed including clean fresh towels and sheets changed everyday. this may to be expected, but in our cost cutting world it cannot now be taken for granted .
The food was for me the area which was way above the other AI hotels we have stayed at in Eygpt, being a fussy eater if its not good i don,t eat full stop. the buttet restaurant served up the majority of our meals here and were generally made of good quality ingredients and most importantly if it was meant to be hot, it was! I,ve been to much bigger buffets elsewhere and not eaten a thing, that said I thought the selections here were more than plentiful. The chinese and italian a la carte restaurants were so good I was more than happy to pay for a second visit at10 euros.
PRBH caters exceptionally well for all adults that want a nice peacefull holiday.whilst it is low key on entertainment(3 evenings per week) it has the notable absence of constant chants to play volley ball and water polo which suited us fine.It has two nice indoor bars to drink at, one which allowed smoking and one that did,nt so everyone is looked after. We both smoke so we spent hours most of our evenings in the lobby bar and received great service from Ahmed who kept us topped up with drinks ands spicy crisps.
The location of PRBH has to be one the best in Eygpt. much has been written about Salh Hareesh being a work in progess but this hotel has prime position. As stated earlier the beach is a natural one and although some fish are present from the moment you step in to the water just a few hundred yards away is the remains of a wreck which as an abundance of fish and some nice young coral forming for those who like snorkling. The pool at the hotel is small but very clean and at most times there were no more than 2-3 couples around it, we took advantage of it for the last hour of sunshine each day.
Another unique feature of the beach to previous visits elsewhere in Eygpt is the lack of hassle. the allocation of sunbeds and general care is looked after by Ibrahim who greeted us each day and decked our chosen beds with towels(plenty of choice even at 10 am so no large scale reserving )Karim was our poolboy down there who worked his socks off running back and forth to beach bar for us and was really friendly without being cheesy. The spa and a guy doing boat trips asked us on the beach (1st day)if we were interested in their services and never again were we asked, just hello as the walked by each day.
My final word is about the general manager of this hotel Mohammed Siad(?), he's everywhere,
you see him at breakfast at 7.00 am,on the outside terrace/beach afternoons in the restaurant/bars at night he usually greets you.If you have any problems and he dosent know about it then you've only yourself to blame.
Hoping to go back in may

My wife and I have just returned from a most enjoyable weeks stay at the Premier Romance,as a previous reviewer mentions the devil is in the detail in this case the clue to a wonderful stay is in the name "Premier"
From the minute our holiday in Egypt started, being met by a Limousine driver at Hurgarda airport until the minute we were dropped back at the airport our holiday was amazing.
The level of service we were given was second to none and it would be difficult to find fault with any of the Hotel,s management, staff and it's facilities.
We were met ontime at the Airport and whisked away to our magical world for a week of pampering and peace and exemplary service. On arrival at the Hotel we were ushered into the Lounge Bar for a welcome drink and the more than welcome addition of a hot moist towel to clean our hands and faces, whilst our check in was being processed,a member of the reception team came to us to confirm details,we did not have to stand in line, the whole process took minutes. We were then invited to go to the Restaurant for dinner, bearing in mind this was at 21.30 the food provided was of more than sufficient quantity and quality. After dinner we were shown to our room and our cases followed with surprising haste, everything was handled in a professional manner and left us with the feeling that we had made a good choice of coming to the Premier Romance.
After a goods nights sleep,in a room with all the essentials provided ,towels, slippers, robes, air conditioning, mini bar, complementary fruit and bottles of water we made haste to the Dining room for breakfast, the choices were overwhelming and fresh and hot,you could even have your eggs cooked to order in any way shape our form you requested. The waiting on staff were pleasant and welcoming and made us feel at home.
Our stay just got better and better as the week progressed ,a vist to the Spa was undertaken,a must!.After indulging ourselves in a "Cleopatra" introduction we booked another three massage session and found them most invigorating and well worth the money, probably around half the price for the whole package that you would be expected tp pay in the UK.
The beach experience was again a great one with attentive staff and attention to detail, towels, sunglasses cleaning and a constant supply of water and other drinks were made readily available.
A visit to the Chinese restaurant was made as was a visit to the Italian one,for us the Chinese experience was good but the Italian one was superb!! Full compliments to the chefs in both establishments are well deserved
It would be difficult to name everyone who made our well deserved week away a memorable one without having access to the payroll list of employees, the following people are worthy of a special mention
The Hotel General Manager,Mr Mohamed Saieed, the reception staff,Sabry and Amr,Hassan, the porter,Ibrahim on the beach, the waiters Saber,Eltayeb and Rammadan and the two Spa colleagues Rose and Mido.
In closing we would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to anyone and everyone

Room tip: Get a sea view one,we had 1218 opposite side to the restaurants

Do you think hotels in the same chain, with the same supervision shall be exactly alike? – you can be unpleasantly surprised… If you have experienced hospitality of twin sister hotel of the same chain – Premier LeReve – you might not be fully satisfied with what you come across in Premier Romance. Together with my wife we enjoyed week of vacation in Premier LeReve in early June and for August break we decided to go to Romance Hotel assuming we will have similar experience. But what a surprise it was… first of all we were shocked with lousy level of service – as the devil is in details let me just share with you couple of examples which might be perceived as small issues but significantly affecting overall experience:
- check-in took more than an hour - without any notification from staff the process might take longer due to some reasons; the request on status update was being ignored with strong advise just to return to lobby bar and wait as it will just take another moment…
- request to obtain second card-key was met with strong resistance from receptionist (finally after few mins argument we managed to obtain it – after all what kind of problem it is for hotel staff to program additional card-key and why to dispute with hotel guest on such negligible issue at the beginning of the stay??)
- asking hotel staff member to help moving an umbrella to another location by swimming pool we were surprised to hear that it was not in scope of responsibility of the person as his job was only to look after pool bar (?)… after experience in LeReve we were expecting the person to summon somebody else if it was really outside its duties…
- as there were no ashtrays around at swimming pool we have requested hotel staff member to bring one just to avoid us to scatter cigarette ash around – the ashtray was being brought but it was full of finished cigarettes (sic!)…
- level of knowledge of some hotel staff is not satisfactory (it might be due to large Russian population occupying the hotel but we did not have a chance to verify this assumption) – it took me several attempts to eventually getting the cook at the breakfast understand what kind of scrambled eggs I wanted – five egg whites (no yolk) and two full eggs (is it that complicated??) – just to put things in perspective I had to outline my order only once to the cook at LeReve!
Staff at Premier Romance should take a lesson from colleagues from LeReve. What a difference! It would be highly beneficial for Romance hotel to pick up their attitude and implement similar level of service. In my view it is leadership issue which should be addressed by Romance Hotel’s management!
There were some other small things that negatively impacted our experience – broken elevator which was not being fixed during our short stay (more to come later), no free internet connection in the room (standard wire connection at LeReve!), extremely low internet WiFi speed in the lobby (we were unable to launch Skype/Lync connection), paid coffee (after experience in LeReve we expected free of charge treat in 5* hotel), minimalistic swimming pool on 2nd floor (the size might be enough for small group of children which by the way are not allowed in this hotel), gym – tiny and without an equipment enabling performing full body workout; there are just 2 treadmills, couple of dumbbells and some hoary exercise machine.
All in all our initial impression was so drastically different with our expectations drawn from stay in LeReve two months earlier that we decided to run away as soon as possible. We managed to transfer to LeReve after only one day of stay in Romance. You have no idea what a relief it was for us to enter facilities of Premier LeReve Hotel:)
Just to be fair – Romance Hotel might be appealing to some guests – it has very nice modern interior design, super-large rooms, wide and sandy beach and great food selection. It is also (as name indicates) boutique hotel with only around 70 rooms which makes it extremely quiet and might create impression of private resort. However in our opinion once one experiences what sister LeReve hotel offers – the choice will be obvious. We will not return to Romance – but for sure will visit LeReve again in the future!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and sincerely regret that we did not meet your expectations.
We welcome all constructive criticism, as it helps us to get better, normally we do VIP check In for all of our guests in the lobby bar and this takes a little time than the check In through the reception desk it is about 10 or 15 minutes maximum. Also it is easy for each person in the room to get a key for the room. Also I am surprised from this unfair comparison as each hotel has a different concepts like (room type & meals and etc..) also if your good self checked the brochure of the tour operator you will find the service in the hotel more than it. We promise to improve the points that had been recorded .Thank you for choosing our hotel and we wish you all the best for your next travels.
