Stayed here for 2 nights as a solo traveller. While I think the place has its charm there are some things you need to consider and some things they could improve.
I got a standard room for 600 baht, which is a bit overpriced, considering breakfast is not included, and especially if you are solo. The room had a double bed with a small table. As a single traveler the room is ok but to expensive. As a couple I would say it is to small and recommend a bigger one. Also, there is nothing to hang your clothes or store some stuff. They could hang some things on the wall to improve this. The bathroom is not ensuite but is a few meters out on the hallway. That is no problem, but because everything is of wood, and because it is not in the room, it gets really really hot in the shower. So after a shower it is instant sweat again :)
Also, because of the wooden house, the noise level can be a bit annoying. Inside the house it is actually ok, but if you can hear the neighbours, especially if they have a drinking party:)
These things being said, I would still rate it a good place to stay. Overpriced as a single traveler, but the place does has it charm, the location is very good (only a few minutes walk from the night bazaar and bus station for onwards travel) and I can see the owners working hard and being very friendly.
So recommendable, but do consider some of the things I wrote above.
