I was a little bit anxious having looked at some of the previous review but I have to say this place surpassed my expectations.
Its situated right on the coast with the most amazing views!! the sunset was 2nd to none. Its is defnitely worth paying for a sea view room, (about £100 for 1 week), otherwise you could just have a view of a rock face!
The pool was lovely, massive and clean, however was really cold!! I'm sure it'll warm up as the summer goes on, we went in early May.
The beach was cute and compact. The walk down to the beach and around the grounds is amazing, like lots of little "secret gardens" wih hannocks and sun beds. Beautiful flowers and plants, so colourful.
Mostly the food was lovely, especially the evening meal, massive choice and of a good standard. The Turkish speciality dishes were the best rather than the pasta type dishes. At lunch we tended to eat at the snack bar by the pool, which had lovely chicken dishes, so tasty. Avoid the burger though that was not nice. Plus there are these tiny birds that come virtually up to you and will try and nick your chips!
With AI you are entitled to one meal in the A La Carte restaurant. We saved ours to the lat night and it was well worth it! There are 2 A La Carte restaurants a fish one and a more meaty/grill one. We went for the latter and the steaks were beautiful.
We were all inclusive, and from what i saw of the prices on the menu it was a good job!!! Hubby said the beer was good and the white wine was pretty grim but the Rose was nice. Plus there were some cocktails on the AI menu which were lovely.
The hotel itself was lovely inside, felt newly refurbushed. Our room was perfect, very clean and working aircon. The bathroom was modern big enough and shower was good, quite powerful.
No kids aswell which is why we booked there i think I maybe saw 2 children over the whole week, and they weren't British.
We took a trip into Kusadasi one day, (when there wasn't a cruise ship in the harbour). The shop keepers are pretty full on so you will get collared with cries of "cheap as chips!" I did succombe in the end! It wasn't like i expected it to be the main centre of the town is very British, bars with Sky sports and just tons of shops. So was very glad the hotel was outside of the town.
We had a trip to Ephasus which was amazing and really a must do trip as its only around 35 minutes away.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, its not english 5* but still you couldn't really ask for a more friendly, clean, well run hotel.
